White teas are naturally sweet, brew to straw-colored liquors and are low in caffeine. Produced on a limited scale in China, white tea is made of early growth or immature buds and leaves and is the least processed of the teas. Plucked at the earliest stage of the harvest, the leaves are withered to allow the natural moistures to evaporate and then they are dried. This process creates an abundance of silvery-white hairs on the dried leaves and buds.
Our white tea is grown in the northern area of Fujian Province. Rich in aroma and taste, this teas is ideal if you savor the unusual and nuanced tastes of early spring.
